Not sure what to say?

We can’t believe it has been a year. We have so many memories of Tommy and Gayle and their family during our time in Hampton. There was baseball, scouts, school, elementary up to college and all the wonderful and fun time we shared as friends. Our kids grew up together and we have so many memories that we cherish. Tommy was a good man and he made everyone’s lives better by his time here. He made a difference.

My name is William (Billy) Patrick.
I was raised in Hampton with Tommy. My birthday is April 9th 1946. I left Hampton in 1965 and joined the U.S. Navy.
After serving Two tours in VietNam, I worked in my Navy rate for two years in Corpus Christi, Tx.
After 30 years of working in the Automotive Industry as a Buyer of cars, trucks, & S.U.V.s for 13 Auto Dealerships from Atlanta to Texas.

I retired from automotive industry in 2007 and my wife Sherilyn and I moved to...

I was saddened to hear of Tommy's passing. Everyone always knew when he was in the building at 140. His whistle was a trademark as was his very interesting stories. He always ducked his head in the TV control room to say hi and then would whistle his way back to his office.
I send my condolences and wishes for peace to his family. God Speed, Tommy Smith.

Beloved man of faith, friend and fellowship.
of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.

From the first time you met Tommy, you would never forget him. He had that kind of personality. He was a very smart and witty person. I had the honor of training Tommy on radar at the ARTCC in Hampton. I never heard him say anything negative about anyone. He loved his family very much, did a lot for his community and had many, many friends. We will certainly miss him. God bless ....Armon Brinson
