Not sure what to say?

I bought my fiance a heart shaped diamond ring from his store in Clearwater, fla. He happened to be there then. Told me my purchase was of a good value. Then we got to talking and he said he held many patents. One I remember was that of a prelubing gas engine that reduced wear. Was disappointed when that store closed. Sorry to learn of his passing. Are any of his stores still open?.

my uncle was a very interesting man. Always very positive with interesting and great business ideas.

We just discovered that Tommy died. Our sincere sympathy to Betsey and the rest of his family. Lou and I bought our rings from him in 1980. His hallmark voice and radio jingles as well as his strong work ethic taught us...and still bring a smile .God bless all of you.

I read Tommy's book, and it changed my life forever. Thank you for the wisdom Tommy.

I remember Tommy Van Scoy from my father's fabric store on South Main Street in Wilkes Barre, Pa. What an amazing human being. My father, a disabled WWII vet, quickly became friends with Tommy Van Scoy. Every day around lunch time they would play cards at my father's store. How funny was this guy ?? My father, Tommy, Jim Bellaza from Bell Furniture were playing cards. Mrs. VanScoy came into my father's fabric store. As Mr. VanScoy was holding his cards and smoking his trademark Cigar, he...

My sincere sympathy to the Van Scoy family. I can remember hearing the radio advertising when I would stay up late studying while a student at Wilkes University in the early 1990s. Tommy Van Scoy, a strong regional Wilkes-Barre personality will be missed.

My deepest regrets to Tommys Family..
We were good friends from the Day he opened his 1st business in a little room on South Main Street as " Van Scoy The GI Jewelry..

He will be missed by our Family, and Thousands of Business friends"

He was a well trusted man and kind to us. I still have the diamond and only replaced the band cause it wore out. My husband purchased it in 1979. I will never forget him. My condolences to the family. He was the diamond king.

I send an expression of sympathy, to the entire Van Scoy family, from the McDonnell's. When living on Rutter Avenue, my children had the pleasure of interacting with some of the family during their school years! May peace and happy memories fill your hearts at this time. Sincerely, Irene
