Tommye Kelly

I taught with Tommye at JCN. She was the only one I knew who could get kids to do anything for her for 2 red hots :) I was blessed to see her last fall when she came to Kansas.. What a special gal. I can't wait to see you again my dear friend.

I had the honor and blessing of being a student of Mrs. Kelly. I always loved her class and she helped me in so many ways to discovering my voice! I was truly blessed to experience a kind, loving, and supportive teacher like her! She touched many lives and will always be remembered in mine.

I worked with Tommye at Jefferson County North Elementary. It was my first teaching position and she was so kind to me. What a beautiful lady!!

I had the privilege of working with Tommye, and my daughter loved her music class.

She taught in such a creative way....peter & the wolf and much more remain in my mind because of her hands on & fun way of teaching! She was great about introducing new and different instruments. Very blessed to have had her as a teacher!

We had the privilege of teaching with Tommye and what a joy it was. Her stories of the south were most enjoyable. Tyler and Tucker did not have a love for music, but they always came home with great stories. What a blessing it was to have known Tommye.

I taught with Tommye many years at JCN and loved her delightful personality and quirky sense of humor. There was always a story to be told with her around. May she rest in peace.

You were a truly amazing person. I loved having you as a teacher and as a neighbor my love for music grew because of you, I just wanted to say that you made life better and more enjoyable for anyone who knew you and that you will be missed!
