Not sure what to say?

Though I knew Dr. Craven for only a few years, still, she was a fascinating scholar and better person. Her books were insightful, well thoughtout and interesting. The Book of Pslams and Ezekiel, Daniel are my favorites. The study of religion and humanity are better for her and her work. Hope and encouragement to the faithful in the face of adversity. You are missed.

I only met Toni a handful of times when we both shared Thanksgiving meals at my brother and sister-in-law's home (Hattie's daughter and son-in-law). I found her very kind and special with a great sense of humor. My prayers are with her family and those who knew her much better than I.

Dr. Craven was one of the first professors/teachers after I started my studies at Brite Divinity School/TCU. She was always supportive and an excellent teacher. I know that she will be missed and remembered by all the students who learned from her. Rev. Tim Thomas (retired.

My deep sympathy to Kathryn and all who have shared the wonderful outreach and friendship of Toni over the years. I cherish the few years that I was part of it. (2003-2009)
