Toni Marie Dorantes

Toni Marie Dorantes, of San Marcos, California, born on June 17, 1987 in San Diego, California, to Marie Dorantes and Oscar Dorantes, passed away at age 31 on October 27, 2018 in Escondido, California. She graduated from San Marcos High School in 2005. She was a processor at Goodwill Industries for 8 years. Toni was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eliviria Dorantes; and grandfathers, Lucky McClard and Raul Dorantes. She is survived by her brothers, Lucas, Gilbert, and Mondo; sister, Shawnda; grandmother, Virginia McClard; nieces, Sofia, Brianna, and Dora; and nephews, Andrew, David, Anthony, Benjamin, William, and Christian; great-niece Olivia; and many aunts and uncles. She also leaves behind her greatly loved dog, Axel Rose. Toni loved the casino, playing cards, dancing, listening to Mexican music, New Kids on the Block, shopping and lifetime movies. Those who wish may donate in Toni's name to Toni Marie Dorantes Memorial Fund. Friends and family can pay their respects at the Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Jeanne Phillips, Chaplain, on Saturday, November 17 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Vintana Wine & Dine Sunset Heights Room, 1205 Auto Park Way, Escondido, California, 92029. A Memorial service will take place, officiated by Father Derek, on Monday, November 19 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at St. Marks Catholic Church, 1147 Discovery St, San Marcos.
