Dear Kates-Florence Family

I was deeply sorry to hear of Dr. Florence' s passing and I extend my heartfelt condolences to each of you. I was a student of Professor Florence last Fall'10 and I enjoyed her class tremendously. Dr. Florence has been the only African American instructor that I have had here at CWRU and she presented herself to me, a first semester, non-traditional black female undergrad, as a most enjoyable and down-to-earth person as well. You have my prayers and best...

I have many fond memories of Tonia when we worked together at BGSU. I missed her when she left the university and miss her agian now that she has passed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

My thoughts and Prayers go to the Kates-Florence Family. Tonia was a great friend to us (The Anderson Gang) in our years together at BGSU she will be greatly missed.

Sincerely,

Isaac "Ike" Simpson

Dear Phil and family:
My deepest sympathy in this time of loss. I got to know Tonia through Landerbrook outpatient services. She was a wonderful person with a warm giving personality. I will cherish the conversations we had. I feel priviledged to have known her. She left an imprint on my life and I will be forever positively changed.

I am so sorry about your loss. Toni and I were roommates at BGSU. I remember when she pledged AKA and how happy she was when she crossed over. Now she has crossed over to eternal life. My prayers are with the family.

To Mrs. Louise, Ben, Aliece & the entire family. Our deepest sympathy, for your loss of Tonia. Always had a great time, whenever around her. She truly will be missed by all whom had the privilege to know her. May God grant you piece in your time of sorrow.

Dear Louise and family, may the peace and grace of Our Lord Jesus be with you in your sorrow. You will continue to be in my prayers and the prayers of the Cleveland Koinonia community during your grief.

Dear Family,
My deepest sympathy for the loss of this precious angel. I had the pleasure of knowing Tonia for over 40 yrs. Although we did not see each other often, it was just like it was yesterday when we did. She was still the sweet, cheerful young girl from years past. That smile could light up a room. I share in your loss. God Bless You.
