A great friend and classmate. He will be missed.

I was so pleased to have a lovely unplanned lunch conversation with Tony about two weeks ago. We both happened to be taking a lunch break at the Chic Fil A on Kalamazoo in GR. I asked him about the book he was reading. It was Reinhold Niebuhr. Tony asked if I had read him. I said, "Not much since seminary". TC was my classmate, but more importantly he was, first and foremost, my friend. Although I am deeply saddened by his passing, we can all take comfort in knowing that the memory of his humor, style, grace and professionalism is everlasting. Rest in peace, my friend. And may you enjoy an eternity of "Fair winds and following seas!" /Greg Sawyer, USNA Class of '77

Tony, one of the good guys at USNA. Always had the time and the smile for anyone who needed it. So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers and thoughts to his wife and family.

I met Mr. Campbell in 2011 as part of his involvement in AmeriCorps and was touched by his deep humanity, his concern for the community, his intelligence, and his humor. This is such a tragic loss of an extraordinary life. My deepest condolences and wishes of healing to Mr. Campbell's family, friends, and colleagues. He has had an impact on many lives, and will never be forgotten.

My prayers are offered up for the family knowing that Tony is with our Father in heaven. Very sorry to hear of his passing but rejoicing in knowing where he is!

Very sad to hear of Tony's passing. I consider myself very fortunate to have known him! God blessed Tony with many gifts, he had a wonderful sense of humor and was fun to be around. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tony's family and friends.
