You were my favorite Blackhawk of all time. Memories of those cold Chicago nights listening to my transistor radio under the covers as 10 yr old. Then later in life actually meeting you in person while delivering a Fedex package to your home. He was so humble and gracious. I will treasure that moment along with the autographed photo he gave me forever. My heart goes out to the Esposito family. We lost a legend!

Though I never met him, Tony had a huge influence on my life. As an all-star athlete, person and consummate gentleman, he taught me life lessons from afar as an endurer, innovator and hard worker. When I was 5 years old I received a wool Blackhawks jersey. I masking taped '35' on the back and wore it to school almost every day. I was re-watching the second game of the Russia-Canada series (1972) tonight when I learned of Tony’s passing. Tony was first star along with Phil with Canada winning 4-1. Tony earned my respect as one of the very best NHL goalies ever. May you RIP.
