Not sure what to say?

Toppy and "girls"-I was just thinking about you and Tony and your precious family today-my 71st birthday-and googled Tony. I found this obituary. Your family meant a lot to me when I was Wendell Norman´s `girl.´ I am briefly saddened to learn of dear Tony´s demise, and this was all a touching and appropriate tribute to him and your family life. You all meant a lot to me. I even remember Prissy. I have my own Cammie now. I love you and the girls and will always cradle you in my heart. Love,...

It's hard to believe that 2 years have passed since the Honorable Tony Goolsby bade us farewell. I think about him every day.

My sincere condolences to Toppy and all of Tony's family. Although I had not been in touch with Tony for many years, I remember with great fondness getting to know him when he was in the Legislature and I had the privilege (and great fun) of helping him with his travel arrangements during session(s). He was a joy to work with, and I will always remember his bright mind, quick wit, and sincere charm.

Dear Toppy and family,
Patrick and I were so saddened by the news of Tony's passing. He was such a kindhearted man and always had a smile on his face. While working with Tony on the board of directors of the Padre Grand, I developed such respect and admiration towards him. When Tony spoke, everyone listened. He was a man with an incredible amount of knowledge, experience and wisdom. He was a good colleague, family man and friend who will be greatly missed by so many! Please know...

Toppy and family - Sharon and I are very sad to learn of Tony's passing. We extend to you our heartfelt condolences and sympathy for your loss. He was a very great person. Always had a smile, always friendly regardless of the debate or issue. As a Methodist from Ft. Worth I found it interesting and funny that you met at Lovers Lane UMC where he was (naturally) an usher.
So many memories as I was also Chair of House Administration. We hope that your sorrow can be softened by the...

Toppy and Girls:

I can't tell you how saddened Bonny and I were to learn of Tony's passing. He was a fine friend, a fraternity brother, and an amazing public servant.
