Missing you daily. I think of you all the times that we would need you to be there....like graduations, birthdays and holidays. You have so many new nieces and nephews that would adore you to pieces. I know you watch over us daily...but what I wouldn't do for one of your bear hugs. They always could make a person feel whole again. I sure do miss you and love you with my whole heart.

We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Tony L. Hernandez US Marine Lance Corporal. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible...

Its been 10 years since the Marines came to your dads house to tell us you will KIA. That was the worst day of my life, parents aren't supposed to bury their kids! I know that joining the Marines was the only thing you wanted to do and I was and am very proud of you. Miss you and love you very much. love you Mom
