Tony and I grew up together, we were friends, neighbors, athletes, Boy Scouts (2-troops and won the Camp J.J Barnhardt Totem at summer camp 1977, hunters, motorcycle riders, trail makers in the woods, woods roamers, basketball players in the top of Meismer's barn, and 1978 Northwest Cabarrus High School graduates. Tony was a very gifted runner. He owned the 880 and the mile run at Northwest. Last time Tony and I chatted was Christmas 2007. He was fighting his cancer off at that time..and...
