After graduation from Darlington High School, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage on Friday, August 3, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
