Dad I was think of you yesterday remembering the time we went canoeing on the East Jordan river and you got yourself caught on tree limb and was just hanging onto it trying not tip the canoe. I laughed so hard at you and mom that day cause you guys were all over the place that day. Then a couple hours later my mind told me its the 27th. I still remember that day like it was yesterday and just know I was there with you till the end and think of you both all the time. Love to you both.

My maternal grandfather was August (Augie) Shavrnoch. My mom, Joyce C. Shavrnoch, met my dad through my grandpa Shavrnoch, who was a nieghbor and drinking buddy. I had met all of the original Shavrnoch sons and daughters, of Joseph and Helen Shavrnoch, my great grandparents. However, I had never met Anton but heard his name mentioned at many holiday gatherings and toasts of Slivovitz plum brandy.

I remember pool parties and his garden. I will forever remember Uncle Tony and Aunt Shirley and some great memories.

Tony and I had alike Metros and he would show me how to do certain things to get mine to run better. Tony was a beautiful and great spirited young man. To Tonys family you have my sincere condolences and prayers!!!
