Torrey Rosebud

Funeral services for Torrey Rosebud, 20, of Bullhead, SD, will be Friday, May 11, at 1:00PM, CDT, at Rock Creek School Gym, Bullhead, with Father Rob Schwarz, Deacon Bea Skinner and the Episcopal Lay Readers officiating. Music will be provided by Rodney Renville and all other gospel singers are welcome. Burial will follow at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery in Bullhead under the direction of Stout Family Funeral Home of Mobridge. Casketbearers will be Mario Crow Ghost, Richard Crow Ghost, Doug Crow Ghost, Harold Crow Ghost, David Crow Ghost, Terrance Rosebud, Taylor Rosebud, Tevin Rosebud, Tyrone Rosebud, Jimmi Jo High Cat, Errol Crow Ghost and Matthew Yellow Earrings. An all-night wake begins with prayer services at 7:00PM Thursday at the gym. A procession will leave the funeral home at 5:00PM Thursday and go through McLaughlin. Torrey entered the Spirit World on May 3, 2012 in Bullhead. Torrey James Rosebud was born November 5, 1991 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Leo J. Rosebud and Darla J. Yellow Earrings. He was raised in Bullhead, South Dakota and attended school at Rock Creek Grant School through eighth grade. He then went on to McLaughlin High School where he was active in basketball. Torrey liked to hang out with his cousins and friends and also enjoyed lifting weights. The thing he loved to do most was play Modern Warfare 3. He was ranked 31st in the world. Torrey was always a gamer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Torrey is survived by his dad, Leo Rosebud; mom, Darla Yellow Earrings; brothers, Taylor Rosebud, Tevin Rosebud and Talon Rosebud; sister, Angel Fast Wolf; grandmothers, Francine Crow Ghost, Iyonne Bear Ribs, Jerrilyn Brown Otter, Rosemarie Crow Ghost and Renee Crow Ghost; grandfathers, Errol Crow Ghost, Matthew Yellow Earrings and David Yellow Earrings along with other extended family & friends. Torrey was preceded in death by his brother, Tayne Jericho Rosebud; grandmothers, Nancy Rosebud Little Eagle and Darlene Yellow Earrinngs Rampersad and grandfathers, Irving Rosebud, Richard L. Yellow Earrings, George Archambault, Lloyd Yellow Earrings, Francis Yellow Earrings and James Yellow Earrings.
