I met Toshi 25 years ago after my husband passed away. I didn't eat much, except microwaved popcorn, and lost 30 pounds. I brought all my clothes to her, and Toshi literally remade my wardrobe. We became friends over the years as I brought clothes to be altered and hemmed. Recently, I lost a lot of weight, and back to Toshi I went to have her remake my wardrobe. She was the same as ever . "Not worth altering, she would say. Buy a smaller size." I will miss her, her bird, and the wonderful...
