Woodfin Funeral Chapel - Murfreesboro Obituary

Tracey Lynn Jordan Carsto, born October 8, 1964, honored daughter and sister, loving wife, and devoted aunt lost her battle with brain cancer on October 20, 2021. Tracey was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN and except for living in Plano, TX from December 2013 to September 2020, lived her whole life in the city she loved. Tracey was a graduate of Riverdale High School, class of 1982 and attended MTSU.

Tracey is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Carsto, her father, Thomas Jordan and mother Gretchen Jordan of Murfreesboro, her brother Thomas Jordan II and Sister-in-law Sarah Jordan, along with nephew Sean Jordan, and niece Sami Jordan of Chestertown, NY.

Tracey was the type of person that could do anything she set her mind to. She was able to teach anyone willing to learn. From crocheting, to jewelry making, to knitting, to quilting… everything was made with TLC by TLC. Tracey was a friend to all and a stranger to none.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro, or to St. Judes.

Not sure what to say?

Tracey was one of the sweetest & most genuine people I have ever met. Her smile was infectious, & she was always willing to share her talent with anyone who asked.
My prayers & God's blessings for you, her whole family, and may all your memories soon be only happy ones.

Thinking about you and your long journey with Tracy. Sending deepest sympathy and much love.

Kathy Conerty

Please accept my sincere sympathy and prayers at this time.

Ms. Tracey was one of the most kindhearted, sweet people I have ever met! My heart is heavy. Prayers for Ms. Tracey’s family

My most vivid memory of Tracey, besides graduating from Riverdale with her in 1982, was that during our senior year, we were both participants in the Junior Bowlers Association in Murfreesboro. Thanks to Tracey, she and I placed second in the league's mixed doubles tournament. Tracey, you were a great friend and a beautiful soul. Although you will be missed here in this life, I know you're celebrating face-to-face with your Savior tonight and for all eternity.

Tracey was such a wonderful person. Always smiling. My prayers are with you all.

I will always remember she always wore a smile. My condolences.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Tracey was a lovely woman. Her light will continue to shine thru memories and her smile.
