Tracey Irving

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Tracey L. (Cooney) Irving, 47, a resident of LeClaire, will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, 614 Main Street, downtown Davenport. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until the time of the service. Keeping with Tracey's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Tracey died unexpectedly Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her home following heart complications. Tracey Lynn Cooney was born on September 12, 1964 in Davenport, a daughter of James and Judith (Moore) Cooney, Sr. She was a 1983 graduate of DeWitt High School. She was united in marriage to Dennis Irving on October 28, 1989 at the Old St. Ann's Church, Long Grove. Tracey had worked at Alcoa and the former Grafco, but most recently was a homemaker. She cherished the time she spent hanging out with her family and friends. Tracey also enjoyed games on her computer and phone, shooting pool, throwing darts, and rooting for the Chicago Bears. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Tracey is survived by her husband, Dennis, LeClaire; children: Alyssa, Davenport, and Nicholas, LeClaire; mother, Judy Cooney, Moline; father, Jim Cooney, Sr., Geneseo; brothers: Jim (Deb) Cooney, Jr., Silvis, Chad Cooney, E. Moline, IL and Todd (Kristen) Cooney, LeClaire; grandmother, Helen Cooney, Panorama Park, IA; mother-in-law, LaVonne Irving, Bettendorf; brother-in-law, David (Beth) Irving, Grand Mound, IA; nieces and nephews: Dayton, Vanessa, James, Gabby, Cooney, and Brett and Jessica Irving; and an extended loving family.
