Hey Tracie, Its been a while. We met in the Outer Banks. You were a bartender and a budding writer. We were close and really had a wonderful time together. You had that cool MGB in black and would take me surfing and partying etc. All the NC boys loved you. I saw some of them in Mexico this week. They didnt know you had passed and were surprised to hear it. We will all miss you.You were special. Ciao

Tracie...you were certainly a bright light in this otherwise dim world. My hubby & me had our first date at Ragin nearly 20 years ago in August 1995. Yes, we ate garlic on our 1st date! ;-) You and your work have no doubt enriched the lives of many. I thank you and know that your spirit will forever live on at our fav eatery as you look down upon us from heaven. God rest your beautiful soul.

I have been a patron of Tracie's since she first opened rajin cajin doors on main st. In belmar. Loved her food from the start. Tracie was always friendly and we appreciated how she always came out and spoke with each and everyone of us through the years as we enjoyed her food. I will always remember how she took in my daughter every time we came and took back in the kitchen to visit. Tracie was my daughters favorite chef so much so that we would make sure we went every fat Tuesday and my...

Most people will share stories of Tracie and Ragin Cajun at the current location across from Shark River, but for me many happy memories were made when Tracie opened in a tiny store front in South Belmar in 1993; a stone's throw from the rickety old house on 16th Ave where my husband and I first put down permanent roots at the Shore. Ragin Cajun was starting out here and so were we. Our first time there was a bitterly cold winter night and the restaurant didn't have adequate heat, but we were...

My cousin and I have made the Rajin a regular meeting place for great food and music but mostly for the atmosphere. We could always feel the vitality and the love....and that was Tracie. We will all miss you dearly.
