Not sure what to say?

I worked at Fordham University at Lincoln Center last night covering a conference where in the past I would most certainly have seen Tracy. He will be missed by all of us who report on religion in Greater Gotham. I loved how Tracy imported the hospitality of Texas to New York and how he was always interested in my family. RIP Tracy
and condolences to Grady and Mrs. Early.

Farewell to a cousin I've only met twice-at a family reunion and then in his home in New York. He was most gracious and a wonderful conversationalist. Maybe in the next life, Tracy? Dru

My Mom, Rosalia lived in the same town with Aunt Lillian for many years. She has said so many times how great her nephews Tracy and Gaston have been to her. Tracy was one of a rare kind. He could talk to anyone anywhere, and make them feel so at ease. Our family is proud of the encouragement that Tracy was to God's people. The Don Head family will miss him very much.

The Catholic News Service library sends its condolences to Tracy's family and friends.

I am a second cousin(I think)to Gaston and Tracy. My mom is Lenora Bowen. I could not believe the email from Gaston. Our deepest sympathies to you and Aunt Lillian.
Momma was just devastated when I told her. We send our love and thoughts and prayers to you. Gaston, thanks for keeping us "in touch" with everyone. May God continue to bless!

Unfortunately I never knew Tracy that well except for reunions, but he was always kind and easy to talk to at those brief gatherings. He will be missed for his quiet and easy going personality. God Bless.

I will miss my cousin Tracy. Whenever my father Laban (Aunt Lillian's youngest brother) brought us to Texas for a family reunion, I was always drawn to the quiet calm that Tracy wore like a comfortable pair of shoes. His gentle sureness of who he was and why God put him on this earth was an inspiration to all who knew him. Tracy, thank you for being who you are...I already miss your yearly Christmas card and good wishes from New York.....Love Always, Jocelyn

Even though we were cousins somewhere down the line, I never got to meet Tracy. I regret this, and hope to soon meet a lot more of my Dad's (Nathan Walton) side of the family. Gaston, thanks for the emails, and my sincere condolences to you, your Mom, and all. Hope to meet you soon. May Tracy watch over all of you from Heaven.

My mother is Ena Byrd. She is Gaston and Tracy's 1st cousin. Her mother and Gaston and Tracy's father are brother and sister. Thank you Gaston for keeping us updated on Tracy's condition. Our heartfelt sympathy go to you and Lillian. Please try to stay in touch. I print all your e-mails and give them to mother. God Bless you.
