Tracy Friedrich, 89, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Schulenburg, Texas. Tracy was born October 28, 1934, in Schulenburg, Texas, to Fred and Mary Svrcula Bednarz. She went to school in St. John up to the 10th grade. Tracy was married to Lawrence Friedrich in 1954, in Schulenburg and lived in Freyburg until recent years. Tracy was a loving woman who cared for all of her family. She enjoyed her time with them along with baking, cooking, and sewing.


Tracy is survived by 4 sons, Michael Friedrich and wife Cathy, Randy Friedrich, Steve Friedrich and wife Vicki, and Mark Friedrich and wife Sharlyne; her 9 grandchildren, Robert Friedrich and partner Thom Pavlechko, Amy Thibodeaux and husband Bo, Mandy Dyment and husband Steve, Clayton Friedrich and wife Kim, Brandi Friedrich, Colt Friedrich and wife Whitney, Dalton Friedrich, Grace Friedrich, and Lucas Friedrich; and 9 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband; and parents.


Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, from the Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. and interment will follow the service in Salem Memorial Cemetery in Freyburg.


Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church in Schulenburg, Salem Memorial Cemetery in Freyburg, or a charity of your choice.
