Not sure what to say?

It has been four years but still cannot get used to it. You must know that you have been remembered and will be remembered in the future every time when we have our Annual Tracy Mott Economic Theory and Policy Workshop at the University of Denver. This year we will have the fourth one in your name. Your scholarly legacy continues and is cherished among your friends, colleagues, young scholars.

I could not write anything to this day since I did not want to believe you were gone. We still had so many things to think, talk, and laugh about let alone listening to your music and drinking bourbon. It was a privilege and honor to be your mentee first, then colleague and friend. You will be missed dearly.

Sympathies on the loss of Tracy Mott from a fellow classmate of the great class of 1968.

My deepest sympathies to all friends and family

Tracy..... what a brilliant, kind, generous soul. We went through White Station High School together in Memphis - never was there a more wise, sensitive kind man in his teen years. Then my grandson went on to graduate from University of Denver last year; though not in economics he shared how highly regarded dr. Mott was. It is with sadness this world has lost one of the good guys.. one of the best.

My professor, my mentor, and my friend, Dr.Mott, You have been always nice and supportive to me. Your warm influence to my life will be always staying with me and remembered. I want to send my sincere condolences to the family. Thank you Dr. Mott. Rest in peace
