Not sure what to say?

I searched the Internet to find evidence of my "american sister" from way back - the sixties. It was with great shock and sorrow that I found this site and found out that she had died. So sad! - but good to learn that my other "siblings" were with her. Last I saw her was the summer of 1980 when she took great care of me and my friends when we visited the ranch at Wagon Mound. In fond memory // Torkel Ekman, exchange student 1965-66.

I just now learned that Tracy passed away. My sincerest condolences to her children and her siblings. On a vacation many years ago in Jackson Hole, I purchased two of Tracy´s pine needle baskets at a gallery. Time passed. The gallery closed and this was pre-internet, so I was unable to find Tracy and ask her about more baskets. More time passed and now I was able to Google Tracy and begin a conversation with her about her work. As an artist and at the time, a curator, I recognized talent...

Tracy lived with me and friends when in Conn. in 1970-72.She always had a great smile, caring personality and in depth conversations. We took a road trip through the night in her blue Volvo to Ada Mich. where I met the family. At that time I was taking the game of tennis pretty seriously. I had Big Bill down 5 love on his clay court. He beat me 7-5. Tracy said afterwards as only she could with a tender heart "Nobody beats Bill on his court". She was a delight. I looked her up this August in...

Sweet little Tracy, you'll be missed. I remember freckles, Until we meet again at that big class reunion in the sky

I've been trying for almost a year to get some old family photos that I found to her and thought that she would enjoy. Some with her and Bill on the farm in Ada. Please contact me with a mailing address. Dana Dempsey 775-223-6923 I did talk to her once about a year ago and her voice sounded just the same as it did 60 years ago. She will be missed.

Tracy was a big part of my life growing up in Wagon Mound, Berry and I were very dear friends and our parents were as well. Tracy was looking me a second mother to me and I still cherish the times I spent at their house growing up with Berry and Jedo. When my mom passed away 10 years ago Tracy painted a beautiful picture of Berry and I in the back of a pickup, which my mom had drove us out in the pasture for the night, watching a meteor shower. One of my absolute cherished possessions is this...

I knew her as the Chair of the Valles Caldera Trust, a federal corporation, charged with managing the Valles Caldera property (known for years as Baca Location # 1 and for many years the Bond Ranch) purchased by the federal government for 100 million dollars. She worked with NM State University to study the effects of the high altitude on cattle brought in for summer grazing and the resulting problem called "brisket." For years the ranch as private property was seen only by a few and when,...

So sorry to hear of her passing. I was a Forest Hills High School friend of hers, and always admired her independence and passion. Tracy sure lived an adventurous life as a Rancher. Sending condolences to the entire Seidman family in Ada, Michigan. Shirley Havenga

Tracy Seidman was a very smart and caring woman. Her family bought my grandfather, A. Stuart MacArthur´s ranch in 1974-1975, which was called The Vermejo Ranch named after the Vermejo stream that snaked through the canyon past the main house, or A. S. MacArthur Ranch since 1942. He had grown up in Wagon Mound and had owned The A. MacArthur General Mercantile in town. Tracy was very kind to all of our family who would stop by the ranch to bother her and remember good times. She attended the...
