I am sorry to read of the loss of such a fine man and soldier. I will always be grateful to him for his service and sacrifice for our country. My deepest sympathy to the Stapley family, his friends and military colleagues.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Tracy will never be forgotten.

I am heartbroken at this news. I served with 1SG Stapley in Kuwait in 2003-2004. He was a wonderful leader and soldier that could always be relied upon. My husband was deployed with him in Qatar and I felt relief knowing that 1SG Stapley was there taking care of him and the other soldiers. I knew that my husband was in good hands with a soldier of the highest integrity and loyalty.
