Sorry to hear the passing of my dear cousin Dr. Rey Rivera. We were classmates in Burgos Elementary School and schoolmates in Mapa High School. He studied in the University of the philippines and I went to Philippine College of Commerce which is both State University. He then went to USA and I went to Canada. Rey was a special, loving and fun to be around type of guy. He was my neighbor when I first moved to Cape Coral and became an instant friend. I cherish all the times we laughed over dinners, golfing dates and just the immediate friendship that we developed. He was the most gentle, soft-spoken man we've ever met and yet, his sense of humor would always come out of no-where and amuse all. He was the shining light at all our parties that he attended and great conversationalist when sitting on...

Rest in Peace Dr. Rey, I will never forget you...

I had what I consider to be the privilege to work with Dr. Rivera in his office from 1982 to 1999. He was truly a kind, compassionate and gentle man. I will never forget him and all of the good times we had working together all those many years and all of the help he gave to me both personally and professionally. I loved him. I will miss you, Rey. Rest in peace.

My heart shout out loud to the good Lord and graciously thanking Him , and will be forever grateful for giving us a good and honorable brother, a highly distinctive doctor of medicine , just like our father Rev.Dr.Emmanuel Ma, Rivera,a faithful believer of God and the BEST father ever in the entire universe! I salute you , brother REY! you did a great job here on earth . I strongly believed that the high heavens welcomed you truimphantly now that finally youre with JESUS.

I feel very honored to have had Rey be part of our family. He will be missed and will always be loved. His humor and kindness will never be forgotten.
