I first met Travis in the 8th grade when we went to a trip to Washington D.C for history class. We where chosen to stay in the same room together and I knew from the start that racing and cars was his dream because that’s all we talked about during that week. He was an awesome guy with a great sense of humor and total respect for all around him. God bless you Travis and all of his family.

As a friend of driver Scott Pruett, the guys at Ganassi have always been friendly and helpful. Along with my man David P., Travis ALWAYS went out of his way to say Hi with a smile. That's not an easy thing to do with all the traveling and hard work the guys put in. The last time I saw Travis (Montreal), he was on the war wagon, wearing a uniform other than the familiar blue/white uniform I'm use to seeing. I hesitated ("different" team), as a joke but he grabbed my hand anyways just to say Hi...

My heart goes out to the Bickel family at this terrible time. I have fond memories of Travis and Dennis riding around in my old neighborhood (Canadian Estates) and showing off their cars. I am saddened by the fact that I couldnt make it to the reunion to hang out one last time with Travis. You will be missed.

Travis was one of the first guys I met at Mustang when I moved there in the 8th grade. He taught our whole class lefty-loosey, righty-tighty and would talk about his brother often. I have always assocated Travis with racing and was so happy for him and his accomplishments. It was wonderful talking with him at the reunion picnic and we even discovered that he and Lisa were living in the same town my family and I had moved from 5 years ago- Avon, IN. My heart goes out to Lisa and Travis'...

I was deeply saddened by Travis' untimely death. I sat next to him at our 20 year high school reunion a few weeks ago. He was so happy to shared with me what he had been doing and how much he loved his wife and his dream career. I am grateful for the high school memories and for the chance to see him again on August 4th. He was a wonderful and kind person. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lisa and Travis' family during this difficult time.
