Not sure what to say?

Travis, though the years continue to pass, our memory of you never fades. The pain dulls, but the reminders of your absence are ever present and still cause us to stop and think about you and your kind spirit and jovial personality that hid your pain. We still wonder why you left and all of the usual thought s about "if only we knew" or "I wish I could have done something to help." You were and are loved Travis. You made a definite mark on the world. It was a great mark! God bless you...

Receiving this anniversary notice online was sobering to me. While its true we all must move on, it is important that we stop and remember the people in our lives who we love and whose acts of love in return shape us. Travis, I would have preferred to see you continue to grow and evolve and live out a life that you wanted to experience. I am sorry depression robbed you of peace, but thank you for for the peace and joy you imparted to others during your short stay. You are in our hearts...

Cha, man I wish I could have told you this in person. And it's a little embarrassing to write it here but I hope it helps those of us that might feel the same.

You had an energy and a passion that stirred up the most amazing friendship. Your excitement and playfulness has never left me. I'll carry it around with me forever. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you and my heart breaks thinking about you in pain. You'll always be apart of my life, from memories of us eating at...

Travis was a great friend to all he knew. His fun personality and caring attitude will be greatly missed .

We are so sad to hear of the passing of your beloved son and brother. Our prayers are with you that you will feel the Lord's comfort and peace even as you grieve. We pray that you will receive the Lord's atoning grace to heal your wounded hearts.

All our love,
Steve and Janice

Travis will always be remembered as a loyal and wonderful friend, a kind a goodly soul and competitive spirit. I am shaken by his loss. I will always smile when I think of his sense of humor and how it flourished within the group of young men who enjoyed a passion for soccer and the outdoors and just being together.

To his family, thank your friendship these many years including our time together in Peru. I pray for the healing influence of the Savior to be in your hearts now and for...

Travis,

Your ability to be authentic in all aspects of your life had a profound impact on me.

I will miss laughing so hard with you that my sides hurt. I'll miss hearing about your unwavering love for your children. I will miss the constant reminders to cherish the people and blessings in life.

Good bye my friend, for now.
