I only met Travis a few times, through his Aunt Kristie while tendin bar with her at Fridays.. He was a great man. I still get emotional every time I hear of another soldiers passing. Please don't anyone EVER forget what these men and women have sacrificed for us! Thank you Travis and many thanks to the entire Krege family!! You will not be forgotten!

Hey Travis, I got out of the Army today and well you're still in my thoughts. A few of the guys are still around 2-27 from our deployment. I saw Johnson, Parra, and Black still around the quad. The day of PFC. Travis C. Krege's passing from this life may not be recent at this point, but I know for his family and friends, the missing him and feeling all of your grief and sadness does not end makes time seem to stand still. I am sure that many memories that you have seem as if they were only yesterday to you. Although I did not have the great blessing and honor of knowing him in this life, I do want to join all of you as you remember his life and honor him for his heroic sacrifice...
