Travis Caswell-Stiles, 27, of Medford, Ore., left this life suddenly on Thursday Nov. 12, 2009. Travis was greatly loved by his family and many friends. He was born on March 19, 1982, to Patricia Angeli and Shane Caswell in Ashland, Ore. He graduated from Ashland High School in 2000 where he was a member of the baseball team and golf team. He then studied architecture at the University of Oregon until 2005. He loved music and going to concerts, playing golf, and watching sports, especially the Golf Channel and Oregon Ducks football. He loved to travel and, though his life was so short, he had the opportunity to visit Europe twice and was able to explore many countries. He made it a point to make every day count and never take one moment for granted. Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Angeli and aunt, Janice Jones. He left behind his mother, Patricia; sister, Breanne; brother in-law, Nathan Hill; nephew, Devin Hill; grandmothers, Dolores Angeli and Shirley Caswell-Rude; father, Shane Caswell; step-father, Michael Stiles; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than can be listed. Travis had a "Heart of Gold" and he will be greatly missed by all! A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Perl Funeral Home, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, OR.

Answered Prayers 2007
Travis, I know this is a little past due. It is the end of May already and although I think of you most every day, It is so much easier to pretend that you are still out there and well. I often think why? Why you? But then I am reminded that this world we live in is often confusing and my questions will never be answered. I went through alot with you and Leaf, All are struggles back and fourth. But I do know and always have that you were a real friend and your devotion to the ones you loved...

Though I’m quite sure it wasn’t what you had planned, I can only imagine that your passing has given you the opportunity to be with some old friends. I take comfort in knowing that you’re up there with our Sean, the two of you probably looking down on us all and laughing at the way we view the next stage of life with sadness… it’s a better place, where you are now, and we should be happy for you fellas.
I am so glad to have known you, wishing only that there had been more time....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - BABY BROTHER... Twenty-eight years ago today my life was changed forever. I may not have wanted a brother at the time, but I was lucky to have you. I know that my life was definitely better because you were there. Even though you were difficult to get along with at times, you were a good brother and for most of our early childhood I would say you were my best friend. I still can't believe that you are gone...our family has a huge hole now without you here! I promise to take...
