Not sure what to say?

My mom just sent me the clipping at college. Hard to believe it's been 10 years since that horrible day...Travis bud, i still think of you and I'm sure you would have been up on that stage with all of us getting your eagle too. Never forgotten, my friend.

Connie, Gary & Cody - We miss Travis and speak of him often. Ray always enjoyed spending time with him on and off the soccer field.

The Strohecker Family

July 4, 1999

Cody, Connie, and Gary - We reminisce often about the days of old on the cul-de-sac. Travis is an integral part of those memories and we think of him often. It was clear he was a remarkable young man even at his young age, just look at that watermelon eating prowess. He is looking down on all of us and keeping a watchful eye on the three of you.

Dear Connie,Gary and Cody, thinking of you today and always, love Deb,Pamm and Sean

I'm very thankful to have played soccer with him at a soccer camp in we both ended up at in Vancouver. I hold on to that memory dearly. He was a great boy, and i know he is missed. He's still in my thoughts and prayers.

We miss Travis, and we will always cherish the many, many fond memories we have with our boys getting together. All the time playing and boys just being boys. We think of Travis and your family often and send our love and hugs on this 10th year of loving Travis as an Angel. ~ Karen and Dave, Taylor and Parker, Newport Beach, CA

Connie, Gary, and Cody: You are in our thoughts and prayers today and in coming days. Travis will live forever in our hearts. We are confident that sweet angel looks down on you every day, and he is so proud of how your family has carried on in his absence. May you find continued comfort in knowing you will be reunited with him some day in God's heavenly presence. Today we will take balloons over to the Travis Hays Memorial Playground here in Littleton, Colorado. Our love, Karla and Ed

Travis was a very special young man, I think of him at this time of year...the anniversary of his passing along with my father. It's been 10 years now, I'm sure you miss him just as much today as ever. Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers, remember he is just away...we will see our loved ones again someday and what a celebration that will be!

Thank you, Hays family, for turning a tragic situation into one of hope and sharing. Travis' short life has and will continue to live forever in the halls of Salmon Creek Elementary School and the lives of those he touched. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
