Not sure what to say?

I'll always remember Travis and his little dog walking around the neighborhood and keeping a watch on everything. He was a real gentleman and willing to help whenever he could. It was always a pleasure being around him. He is missed but not forgotten.

Travis was our neighbor across the street for the past 11 years that we've lived here. He was truly one of the nicest and most honorable men that we had the pleasure of knowing; a true gentleman. We will definitely miss him, but we won't forget him.

I had the pleasure of knowing Travis for 27 years. He was engaging and generous and always willing to help a neighbor. He was a man with quality and conviction, an example to all who met him. My life was bettered by his.

Best wishes to his family that he was so proud of.

Dear Family of Travis Slagle,
I have often wondered about Travis and his family. About 46 years ago I worked for an oil company, Whitestone Petroleum, and an independent oil operator, Craft Thompson. At one or both of those places I had the pleasure of knowing "Mr. Slagle." What a nice man he was!!! I particularly think of him at Christmas as he once gave my husband and me a smoked turkey. Ever since then we have had our Christmas tree lights in that box with his name on it.
