God bless the Family & Friends of Travis Van Zoest. I was blessed with occasionally running into Travis while he worked at MDU. He always carried a warm, inviting smile. The passing of Travis really hits home as I have a daughter his age. I cannot imagine the burden of sorrow that you, the family and fiancee are feeling. But know this: Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we are grateful for the brave young men and women in uniform that provide the continuation of our American...

I was honored to stand with a flag while the funeral procession made it's journey to the cemetary in Mandan. God bless Travis for his ultimate sacrifice. I am truely grateful to him and to all of the other soldiers for their service to their country. His entire family, friends and fellow soldiers are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sheila and Terry, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remembered you speaking so highly of Travis when I was dealing Blackjack to you and when I was on your pontoon last summer. It was a beautiful service of sharing last evening and wish I would have personnally known Travis. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Sheila, Terry, Derrick, Tyler & Keisia, and all the Richter family... It has been an honor to get to know you over these last several days. Through you I have become to know Travis. Thank you for sharing his stories with me and thank you for welcoming me into your home during this most tragic of times. Ben & Deborah, and all the Van Zoest family, I offer my sincere condolences for your loss.

Terry, You were a Friend and I cared for you. Now MY heart Cares even more with your loss. A mass in your Family Honor will be said in my heart.

I had only known Travis for about 3 years from working with him at Menards to bowling with him at Ten Spot Lanes. He was a great teamate and a good friend. We will miss not seeing his smiling face. Seems like he always had a smile on. Travis made a choice and payed the ultimate sacrifice. I am extremly honored to have met and known such a good person. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Terry, Sheila, Derrick, Tyler, Josh, and Keisia
