singing. My best to you

To the whole Walker family I offer my prayers. I too have many wonderful memories of your husband, father and grandfather as I grew up. In my mind I see him majestically carrying the precious urn as the tall Wise Man in the nativity as clearly as if it were yesterday. I remember him often laughing and smiling. I am thankful for his witness of the joy of Christ in my life as I grew up.

Offering love and prayers to each of you during these days of sadness and loss. May God's comfort and peace be real in your lives.

I send my best wishes to the Walker family. Your family is one of the brightest places in my early memories of the Church on Delaware. Then it was my priviledge to get reaquainted with some of you, including Travis, at Anderson College in the late '40s and early'50s. I feel a deep gratitude to your family and share in your loss of your dear Travis.

We are so sorry and wish we were there for the both of you.Know that we are praying for you all, and that we share in your sorrow. . .

Dear Dorothy and Family,

We express and love to you all in the passing of our dear friend, Trav. How many wonderful memories flood our minds as we think of the years of friendship with you both. Trav certainly deserves the benediction of our Lord, "Well done, good and faithful servant." Our prayers are with you during these days and the days to follow. May God's loving presence bring you strength and comfort.

Brother Trav was a good friend to my parents, my brothers, and me. Don, my Dad, will always cherish playing softball with him. I will always remember him as a Wise Man to me, a shepherd boy. Now, Trav can share Nativity Pageant stories with my Mom, Violet, who played Mary; in heaven. I can hear the other angels laughing with them! Blessings to the rest of the family!
