EVANS, Ga. - Deacon Trent L. Nathan entered into rest on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Doctors Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Jamyle Searcy officiating. Burial will be at Sharon Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors are his wife, Quanda Nathan; daughter, Cera Nathan, Americus, GA; son, Tristan Nathan, Evans; mother, Lizzie Mae Hillery, Sylvester, GA; brothers, Nicholas (Courtney) Hillery, Albany, GA, Corey Henderson, Jacksonville, FL, Jeffery (Tina) Holmes, Augusta; sisters, Mary (Clarence) Bledsoe, Lexington, KY, Andrea Nathan, Jacksonville, FL; and a host of other relatives. I've been thinking about Trent a lot lately while all these years later, I am back at Washington Commons and remembering the fun times we had with him and Quanda as community managers. Trent, you shall always remain in my heart. I miss you but I understand that you are in a better place and free of suffering. Continued love and prayers for Quanda, Tristan, all family members and friends.
