Luyben Dilday Mortuary Obituary

Trevor was blessed with many gifts, one of his greatest gifts was his willingness to help anyone, family, friends, and even strangers, Trevor wouldn?t let you say no. At 16, he convinced the Red Cross to let him help when Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, even though you needed to be 18. He wouldn?t even let the Red Cross say no. Trevor volunteered with the Get On The Bus program, and was so involved that the company that ran the private buses wanted to hire him. To help his sister, he became a member of the IFC in Chowchilla. Trevor was always the first one there and the last one to leave.

Trevor loved many people and things in his life; his sister Melissa, his Grandparents, his family, his friends and me. He also loved this country and so wanted to serve in the US Marine Corp. Trevor loved to fly and obtained his private pilot?s license and anyone who knew him, knew he loved his Cobras. Trevor was also passionate about justice, politics, and animals.

Trevor was always smiling, always making someone laugh. When I was upset he would start singing and dancing, no matter where we were, and it was that song from Dodge Ball, ?Milkshake?. Ugh! But I did laugh.

Trevor was an amazing, beautiful young man; smart, kind, loving, giving and I will miss him forever.

God saw you getting tired and healing was not to be. So he put His arms around you and whispered ?Come to Me?. With tearful eyes we watched you, as you slipped away, and though we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay. Your beautiful heart stopped beating, your tired mind put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best!

I love you,
Mom

Not sure what to say?

I am waiting behind at Paul's place drive-thru right now and I saw the sticker celebrating the memory of Trevor Doran. It is not uncommon for me to Google search the names of the people and read about it, but reading Trevor's made me more emotional than any other one. They say you can tell a lot about looking at someone's eyes, and I see a truly good person. I am sorry for your loss. Reading about him almost brought a tear to my eye, I do not have enough courage to say anything to you,...

It is hard to believe that 5 years have passed since you went home to the Lord. I can visualize you still dancing and singing in heaven. May God rest your soul and may your family find peace. I still remember how very excited you were when you got your driver's license. You made me laugh.

Dear Vicki, Melissa and family, I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Trevor. I remember the day he told me he just got his drivers license, while at coffee & doughnuts at St. Cornelius. I asked him if he would do me a favor. His reply was 'sure'. I asked him to wait at the church parking lot for the next 20 minutes, until I got home before he got behind the wheel. His response was that big beautiful smile. His memory will go on forever. I pray that your heart will heal as time goes on. Buddy...

Love you brother
Trevor was working on becoming a private pilot and took me on a flight to SLO airport, while trying to land the the plane we had a crosswind of 15 mph which was the limit to land safely. The little plane was sideways 100 ft off the ground I thought wee going to die haha but last second turned it straight and landed with the biggest smile
He looks back and says did you see that
Haha hell yea brotha
Thanks Trevor for touching my life
You will never...

Prayers and condolences to the family and friends of Trevor. I met Trevor only a few times. He appeared to be just as so many have described, a very nice person and a respectful son.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,
Pam

Trevor was always a happy go lucky guy who loved his Harley and whatever car of the month he had. It had been a few years since I had seen him but he was always the first to offer whatever he had to his friends. I will never forget his generosity and sense of humor. There's a moment in particular where he was the only person to pull me out of a tough situation and helped get me home safely. Always kind hearted and full of adventure. My heart breaks for his mom and sister as they go through...

Trevor,

Always the smile, always respectful, always responsible, always fun! Did not get to see you recently, but this is how we will always remember you...

God bless,

Joe & Julian

Years ago when Trevor was about 10 years old, Vicki, Trevor and I went on a trip to Cabo San Lucas. As any 10 year old would, he was having a great time in the pool and hanging out on the beach and playing in the waves and sand. We did all the usual things people do in Cabo, eat, Jet Ski, shopping, relax and fishing.

But it was when we went panga fishing for Roosterfish close to shore that I saw something in him that most people neither have in life nor demonstrate.

Always US. I love you my Baby Brother. I will always be missing you. LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
