I met Trevor while stationed at Hickam, and he was stationed at Kaneohe Bay in the early Aughts. I thought he was one of the most compassionate and forward-thinking people I knew. He was pretty mature for his age. He talked quite often about his interest in levees and making other civil engineering improvements where he was from. What I remember most about him was his concern for others, his appreciation for life, and never taking it for granted.
