Trevor Spink was literally the face of the U.S. Marine Corps. From 1996 until 2000, Spink''s image in full dress uniform was used on Marine recruiting posters, billboards and literature across the country. He served in the Gulf War and signed up for three tours in Iraq. "He had a lot of easy jobs in the Corps, but every time a war would happen, he''d sign up for the infantry," said his half brother, Lucas Kozloski. "He loved it and he loved his country." Spink, 36, of Farmington, Mo., died July 10 in a vehicle accident in Anbar province. He was born in Abington, Pa., and attended high school in Farmington, Mo. An Eagle Scout, he joined the Marines in 1985, months after graduating high school. He was based at Camp Pendelton, Calif. Spink returned from the Middle East in May and June to see his family, visit friends and ride his beloved Harley-Davidson motorcycle. His aunt, Cindi Lamers, fixed him grilled chicken, just as he asked. "Everybody gains weight when Trevor''s home because we love to cook and eat," Lamers said. Spink is survived by his mother, father and two stepfathers.

Not sure what to say?

My former wife and I used to babysit him in PA. His dad, Trevor, was a close friend and schoolmate of mine. He was the same age as our oldest son, Stuart. 'Little' Trev was a good kid and I was taken aback when I found out about his death. He looked just like Pam, his mom.

Today is his birthday. My brother is 50 years old. I love you Big Bro

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Spink Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to troops in Afghanistan this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Trevor Spink US Marine Staff Sergeant. We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of...

I will never the great times we had together in Las Vegas riding your Harley. I miss you so much.

To the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Trevor Spink:
Always remembering Trevor. "Some gave all."

I just wanted to let you know that you are being thought of on this Memorial Day weekend. You are a true American Hero. I was born in Springfield, MO many years ago. I have lived in California for most of my life, but do have relatives back there.
If I could have one wish, it would be that every American would stop what they are doing for just a minute or two and say a little prayer for our Military. My grandson was a Marine and was in the 3/1.
HEROES NEVER DIE. THEY LIVE IN OUR...

Pam,
Let me just say that it was an honor to pay tribute to Trevor by hosting the Remembering Our Fallen Exhibit. I am glad that you sent photo's for us to display. He was a very handsome man.

To the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Trevor Spink:
Please accept my remembrance of Trevor on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Pam,

We think of Trevor everyday, there is not a military tribute or the notice on the news that we have lost another soldier that Trevor isn't immediately thought of. He was a very special young man to those who were blessed to know him....We are so glad we were 2 of the many he graced with his presence.
