Remembering Tristan on the anniversary of his passing. May our fallen heroes never be forgotten.

I have known your family for a long time now and I didn;t know Tristan as well I know you guys but it has really affected me and has taken me this long to get up to courage to admit he is gone. He is truly an amazing person and I will never forget all the amazing things hes done. Thank you for everything y'all have done as a family and for bringing such a wonderful person into our lives. I love you with all my heart. Tristan you have a place in my heart forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Tristan will never be forgotten and he, along with your family, will always be a part of the 3-172 Mountain Infantry family.

I teach English in a community college in Texas. A student of mine recently wrote an essay about how a brother in arms saved his life and was killed during an intense battle. I cannot help wondering if he was talking about your son. He ended his essay with a tribute to his brother and the other band of brothers and added that he now lived to make the world safer for his own son whom he had named Tristan. I believe he may have been writing about your son. I hope you know that others...
