Not sure what to say?

A long while ago, I had the privilege of working as Mr Colkets summer cook at the family home in Maine. He lit up the room and brought joy to his family and friends and had the admiration of all who his life touched.

Just learned about the loss. My condolences to Ruth and the whole family. His legacy with live on.
We have lost a true great man!

I’m not sure if you remember me or not, my dad Robert Mckinlay used to work for you a few years back. Your family was always so kind to me as a child and I always loved coming up to the house, and saying hello, and always seeing mr Colket walking outside and would sometimes get to go up and see the tents when you would have parties. I’m so sorry for the loss of mr. Colket, your family is in my thoughts.

Dear Ruth, Carolyn, Tristram, and Bryan,

You are all in my thoughts. Tris and I met for the first time at the Grand Romaine lodge in 1969. I was 18 and Tris would have been 31. Tris and I remained friends ever since, and how I enjoyed laughing at stories and catching up with him each year at the salmon club’s annual dinner in New York. He will be greatly missed. With my deepest sympathy, Bob
