Not sure what to say?

Lucas you will always be a precious part of our family and hold your special place in our memories. You will never be forgotten. Our hearts will always be broken. I know that you are making Heaven shine and giving Will companionship. Special prayers to all of the family. We share your pain.

Mike, Becky, Erica, and Mr. Bartley...I cannot pretend to have any idea how you are feeling right now but I just wanted you to know how so very sorry I am to here of your son's passing. Grief cannot be controlled in any fashion, I just hope that first and foremost your belief in our Heavenly Father and his love for you and your family can give you peace and comfort...and that your son's love for you and all those precious memories will someday prove to be a comfort as well. He lost his life...

Rest Easy Brother. You are gone but will NEVER be forgotten. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be at your Funeral, I was away with the Military. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Heaven has gained another Angel. Watch over us and keep us safe buddy.

Mike and Becky - I have no words....this hurts my heart to the core. Even though I have not lived in Chilhowie for years, my heart and soul is still there with the community and the folks. Both you guys are a big part of my growing up years and you both are embedded into my heart and soul - I am so very sorry. I love you dearly.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Trooper Dowell is a hero. We're all so grateful for his service and your sacrifice, even though gratitude seems like it isn't enough. My dad was a police officer and died in the line of duty several years ago. I don't understand your personal circumstances but i know a little bit about this situation and I'm happy to help in any way I can if you all need anything. God bless you all.

Mike And Becky and Erica.. I have no words I pray the Lord comforts you all, I have fond memories of Lucas as a child he greatly touched my life and will never be forgotten.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for Lucas' death. He was an awesome fellow.
