Not sure what to say?

Its 2021 and I miss my brother so much 18 years later

Uncle Gerald, Tammy, Jay, Dillon, Heidi, Megan, and Families,

My heart goes out to all of you and you are in my prayers daily.

Tammy, like I told you when you were standing at the foot of Troy's casket, there is one who knows the unspeakable sorrow you are going through at the loss of a child. She is the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of God, that knelt weeping at the foot of her Beloved Son, Jesus' Cross. In your darkest hours, look to The Mother of the Sorrowful Heart...

Tammy, Uncle Gerald, Megan and families,

When you are sorrowful
look again in your HEART,
and you shall see that in truth
you are weeping for that
which has been your DELIGHT.
(Kahlil Gibran)

I was so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Please know that all of you are and will continue to be in my thoughts and my prayers.

When I think of Troy, I remember him as a kid. I took videos at family functions that included him and Dillon, and I remember (forgive me Dillon!) for referring to them as "Uncle Gerald and Aunt Rosalie's fighting little red-headed boys" because it seemed every time I saw them, they were fighting or wrestling. At Aunt Rosalie's funeral, I found that Troy had grown into this polite young man, and I was very impressed. And, as I remember, the words he wrote in HER online guest book were...

Dearest Uncle Gerald, Tammy, Jay, Heidi and family.

We were just informed of your tragic loss and want to express our deepest sympathy.

We didn't get to know Troy personally but what we heard from other family members he must have been a wonderful person.

Our prayers will be with you all in the days to come.

To the Altazan family:
I'm very sorry for the loss..I give you my condolences. I went to Port Allen with Opie and as far as i remember there was not one day that he wasnt smiling and laughing and having a good time. Especially during football season at Port Allen. He was always cutting up and making everyone laugh. He will always be loved and never forgotten. He touched a lot of peoples lives and he will always be in my heart. Opie will definately be missed by everyone...Sorry for the loss...

Gerald, Tammy, Jay & Family, Heidi & Family, Dillon, amd Megan:

Our love and our prayers are with all of you.

We know the difficult tmes you are going through right now. We are incapable of understanding God'S will to take such a wonderful loving, kind person away from us. We know that GOD needed another holy angel with HIM and Troy was HIS choice.

Tammy, baby, it is perfectly OK to be angry at GOD at this time. GOD understands, but HE is not angry at us. One day HE...

Gerald, Tammy, Jay,Dillon. and Megan:

Our hearts, our love, and our prayers are with all of you. We know the difficulty you are going through at this time. Only time will permit us to learn to live without our loved ones. Tammy, baby, it's perfectly OK to be angry with GOD at a time like this. Beleive me, GOD understands your feelings. HE is not angry with you. In time he will give you the grace to understand why he took such a loving and precious son. He needs good men in heaven,...

Troy, I remember when we were little and everytime you came over to paw-paw miltons we would lay down some mats and wrestle and fight each other until you left. I was sad to hear you left us so soon. I know you will be missed by many. Guess ill see you around when its my time. Rest in peace cousin.
