We first met Troy when we bought the house across the street in 2003. Troy was 6, I think, and adorable. He loved our Newfoundland dogs and got so excited every time he came over to play with them. Troy would laugh and roll around with both newfs even thought these gentle giants towered over this little boy. As neighbors, we looked out for each other and shared many events.
