Troy J. Boyle, age 41 of Stockton, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL. He was born November 9, 1975; the son of Pat and Tina (Mackey) Boyle.
He had worked construction for most of his life. Troy was an active member of the Beloved Church in Pearl City and Lena, IL where he volunteered with church picnics and enjoyed playing his guitar with the Praise & Worship Team and spending time with his church family. He also went to California on the Azuza Now Mission Trip and received a diploma from the Freedom School of Ministry. Troy enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He loved spending time with his daughter & son and his dog, Dozer.
He is survived by his children, Patience & Ricky; father, Pat (Kim) Boyle of Pearl City; grandmother, Nola Hopkins of Stockton; sister, Angela Boyle of Quad Cities, IL; nephew, Chayse; niece, Bella; step-sister, Tory Calderon; step-brother, Cliff (Melissa) Calderon; step-nieces & step-nephews, Tanner, Korrie, Hayden, Jennifer & Kayden; and several aunts & uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tina; grandparents, John and Vera Mackey; grandfather, Owen Boyle; and uncle, Todd Mackey.
A visitation will be held Sunday, April 2nd from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton, cremation rites will be accorded after. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 3rd at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Pearl City with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
