Mr Fields was my teacher 4th through 8th grade at Whitaker Elementary School. So many memories of all the fun things he and Mrs Fields did with us. He was more than a teacher; he was a role model and a mentor to all of us. He taught us more than book knowledge; he taught us pride and promise of a better future. From him I learned that education was the key to open any door I chose to open. He continued to be an influence in my life as I went on to graduate from high school and enroll in EKU...
