I didn't have the privilege to know Troy. But I do have the privilege to know his sister rhonda. And his two nephews colton lee & landon troy jimmerson. I have also heard many wonderful things about ginger and her beautiful children. I hope they know how much they are loved and how much their daddy is missed. His story will live on in rhonda& kaye& Ronnie as long as god will allow. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of maj. Troy's family. May god watch over all of you.

Mrs. Gilbert and family,

I had the honor of serving with your husband in Balad, Iraq. His office was next to ours and he was an amazing officer and man to know. I think of him often and pray for your family. I am honored to have known such a great man. Please accept my sincerest rememberance of Major Gilbert. Merry Christmas and may God grant you peace.
