Troy was a great friend to me. I served in Virginia in his mission and went to Utah State with him. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My time with him was memorable. My thoughts and prayers are with Monica and his family.

We are so surprised to hear of Troy's passing. I believe he was doing what he loved, which is how we should all be. He was one young man that touched our lives. I loved being his scoutmaster and will cherish our memories forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
