Troy Stricker Obituary

44, of Sinking Spring, passed away Friday June 25, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife Rebecca Sue Stricker in 2007. He was born in Reading on September 29, 1976 a son of Charles D. and Cathy L. (Saylor) Stricker. Troy was a 1994 Reading High School graduate and 1998 graduate from Albright College. He was a lifetime Dallas Cowboy fan to many of his friend’s dismay and played guitar and sang with local groups. Troy was co-owner of Sam’s Goose House in Reading and lastly employed by Railroad House in Sinking Spring. Troy could always make people smile and laugh. His smile and signature laugh was infectious . Troy could always make people feel special and welcomed. He had many close friends which he shared many memories with. He is also survived by his son Beau C. Stricker, brother Charles Jr., and his wife Tanya J. Stricker, 2 nieces Charley Stricker, Peyton Stricker, nephew, Trey Stricker, Paternal grandmother, Bessie M. widow of Donald Stricker, Maternal grandmother, June widow of Stuart Lenhart, 3 aunts; Cheryl and her husband Jack Dennis, Carol and her husband Gary Ulrich, Lori and her husband Howie Daubenspeck, 2 uncles; Michael and his wife April Lenhart and Donald G. Stricker, Jr. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday July 1, 2021 10-11am in Auman’s Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd. Reiffton. Inurnment to follow in Laureldale Cemetery. Troy was deeply loved and will be missed by his son Beau, his parents, his brother, nieces and nephew, and all of his family and friends. www.aumansinc.com

Troy I remember you, Mike Flammer and I being like the three Amigos. Haha. I remember when we did the Superbowl Shuffle in class. I believe Mike had McMahon jersey, Troy had Walter Peyton and I had the Fridge Jersey. We ran our laps in gym class at 12th and Marion shoulder to shoulder. God bless you and your family. Still remember you 35 years later.

Troy, Becky and Beau were my neighbors in Shillington. We were very close, I have many great memories. Troy is with Becky, the love of his life, this gives me comfort. My struggle is to you Beau its gonna be hard buddy, keep your family close. They both loved you so much
