Troy Zackery, Sr.

Troy’s life would seem too short too short to many, but for those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live it. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and his sense of humor always made others laugh.

      Troy B. Zackery, Sr. was born August 14, 1971 to Elsee and Wilda Zackery of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a 1989 Graduate of Washington Marion High School. He departed this life May 13, 2012.

      Those left to cherish Troy’s precious memories are his parents, Elsee and Wilda Zackery; six children’s, Kimberly Honeycutt, Troy Zackery, Jr., Jasmine Zackery, Davonta’e Zackery, Isaiah and Travis Moss; two lovely granddaughters, Kaliah and Aniya Honeycutt, all of Lake Charles, LA., Troy’s fiancé, the love of his life, Joella (Nosha) Moss of Sulphur, LA.; three brothers, Bryan (Lillian Jolivette) Zackery, Reginald (Sylvia Babineaux) Zackery, and Nolan (Latrisha George) Zackery, all of Lake Charles, LA., also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted family and friends.
