Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the family. Trudy was my childhood friend and only the miles separated us in adulthood. She will always carry a special place in my heart and will be greatly missed. I will forever have fond memories of our childhood together playing in the dollhouse, playing pool in the family room and listening to Elvis Presley music for hours.

I wanted to let you know why I wasn't at the Memorial Service. My husband's parents were in a bad car accident and we were at the hospital with them in Sioux Falls. If you can let me know an address to mail cards to that would be great. Trudy's church, St. John's UCC in Ackley has been praying for her every Sunday. Many people there remember Trudy when she lived in Ackley. Again, my deepest sympathy. She was so proud of you three. She always had to show me pictures...

I first met Trudy at an ALS meeting. My husband Jerry Miller II is fighting this devastating disease as well. Our hearts go out to their family and friends.

Dear Anna, Nick and Ben
My deepest sympathy to you. Your mother was a pillar of strength and had a great attitude during her long illness. I never visited Trudy when she wasn't happy and smiling. She is now skating, bike riding and listening to Bobbie Vee in heaven! God has received another angel. Love to you all!

I knew Trudy as a neighbor-down-the-block, and admired her very much. So sorry for your loss. Janet Markley

Anna - Nick - Ben, I'm sorry I was not able to see you today, but my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Trudy held a special place in my heart through the years of raising you children...we sat together at many events! I will always treasure the memory of your mother! God bless each of you. May we rejoice as Trudy walks with God in heaven forever.

We are so sorry for your loss. Trudy was a fantastic woman and lots of fun to be with. We spent time with her at the skating rink and numerous times she ordered tickets for a bunch of us for the Rock and Roll Reunion during the state fair. If more people were like her, the world would be a better place. May the prayers of friends give you comfort and the love of God give you peace.

So sorry for your loss. I remember seeing her at the games.
