Trudy Hekman

Trudy was a Loving Lady that Loves children and was a Sunday school teacher at Sherman St CRC When children didn't want to go to Sunday school only what the parents would have to say they would see Miss Trudy and that was the time they wanted to go to Sunday school

I am deeply saddened by this passing of my dear friend Trudy whom I came to know as she spent so many hours as a Visiting Angel caring for my wife, Marilyn, with her extraordinary tender love and compassion. She spent so many hours tending to all of Marilyn's needs (Lewy Bodies disease) with me over the last 19 months of her life. Trudy became like a member of our family. Sending my sympathy, Willene and family. Al tho´ it´s been some time since I´ve had contact with Trudy, I have many fond memories of her great energy and creative voice as we planned youth activities in years past. Thinking of you as you celebrate her life.

She truly was a faithful servant , taking care of Tante Willie with MS, and all her acts of love to all who were in need of loving arms.
