Not sure what to say?

Dear Mike, Dennis and Denise,
I was so very sorry to hear of Trudy's death. I prayed for her and for you during my annual retreat this year which was where I was heading at the time that I heard about her death. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and blessed all who knew and worked with her. Dennis, in case you don't remember me, I was your 3rd grade teacher. Your Mom and I had many a discussion about you and I think we had a better year because of those communications. I hope you...

Dear Mike and Family,

We were so shocked to learn of Trudy's death from the Cursillo Newsletter! We wish we could have joined you for the celebration of her life----what a giving and sharing person she was. We would love to wrap our arms around you and all those who loved her so much.
You will remain in our prayers.

To Mike, Trudy's siblings, and all her extended family and friends, our deepest sympathy on your loss. We pray that your pain will be quickly healed and that your faith in God will strengthen you at this time.

An Irish Funeral Prayer

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we...
